We are seeking a professional experienced in producing conferences in the following topic areas:
Health IT, Medical Informatics, Healthcare Industry Transformation, Predictive Analytics, Population Health Management, Coordinated Care, Mobile Health, Achieving the Triple Aim, Hospital Information Systems, Healthcare Reform, Infrastructures to Support Clinical and Financial Transformation in Healthcare, or experience in one of these fields of interest.

Conference producers develop the technical content & agenda of events, recruit speakers and oversee the entire production process.  Producers utilize a journalistic approach to build relationships in industry and develop and manage a dynamic portfolio of conference topics.  They are top-notch communicators with exceptional relationship-management skills and the ability to effectively attract industry thought leaders to participate & speak at our events.

Activities include: literary review of novel technologies and innovative approaches to care delivery; analysis of the industry for economic, scientific, technical and regulatory trends; extensive phone interviews and email communication regarding source material, topic validation, content development and thought leader recruitment; and use of the knowledge gained to create a compelling conference program.

Producers are more likely to be successful if they come into the job already possessing the following skills & experience:

  • Conference production experience is highly desirable, preferably in medical education and/or science-related seminars and training programs.
  • Must be a self-starter and strong project manager who is undaunted by constant multi-tasking and overlapping deadlines.
  • Travel is required (approx. 10 trips annually).
  • Ideal candidate possesses exceptional creativity and demonstrated ability to determine viability of products.
  • Conference production is team based, and working comfortably with people across the entire organization is essential.
  • Healthcare, Data Analytics, Business Analysis experience is strongly preferred.

DATA ENTRY & INTERNET RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

We are seeking candidates with lightning quick and error-free typing skills to fill the position of DATA ENTRY & INTERNET RESEARCH ASSOCIATE. Duties for this position include:

  • Perform high-volume and accurate data entry [Keyboarding (typing) test will be included during the recruitment process!]
  • Update and add records to our marketing database
  • Conduct Internet research to obtain updated contact information on prospects [Internet skills test will be included during the recruitment process!]
  • Identify and remove duplicate records in the database, and correct general data entry errors
  • Process returned mail
  • Process inquiries
  • Occasional filing

Barnett International, a leader in clinical research training, is currently seeking self-motivated and growth-oriented candidates for the following, full-time position:

CLINICAL TRAINER AND CURRICULUM MANAGER

The Clinical Trainer and Curriculum Manager is responsible for training program delivery, as well as providing ongoing infrastructure development and maintenance of Barnett’s core curriculum, principally in the Clinical Research arena.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Delivers Barnett’s training course in areas of core subject matter expertise, e.g. Monitoring, Site Management, Source Documentation, utilizing adult principles of learning and effective facilitation skills that include varied instructional techniques.
  • Works with Global Head of Training and contract trainer base on clinical research course development & instructional design
  • Develops training solutions for clients and participates in sales presentations.
  • Demonstrates effective, respectful and professional relationships and communication skills
  • Identifies and communicates recommended course changes based upon training delivery experience and/or feedback from learners.
  • Maintains currency with regulatory requirements and industry/regulatory agency trends that are utilized in course delivery and development.
  • Updates/revises Barnett clinical research course catalogue & training course materials

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, nursing and/or advanced degree preferred
  • At least ten years of related experience and/or training in the clinical research arena.
  • Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design techniques & program development.
  • Knowledge of product development, clinical research, project management, clinical trial management-oversight, site management-monitoring, data management, pharmacovigilance/drug safety, quality management, audits/regulatory agency inspections, regulatory compliance, as well as the interpretation and application of relevant regulatory agency documents/requirements to these topic areas
  • Significant experience with role-based training program development, preferably in the clinical research arena.
  • Competence in a variety of technical training environments that include live, web-based and eLearning platforms.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and motivation to learn computer applications
